Rev. Brandon Yaghjian-Tison

Pastor Brandon joined BCC, as of January 1, 2023, as their next settled Senior Pastor and Teacher, joining with his husband of 13 Years, Kevin and their two boys Joseph (13) and Eddy (16). Rev. Yaghjian-Tison resides in Norwich, CT and comes to BCC with several years of experience in finance, management, and more. A Graduate of Capella University with his Bachelors of Science in Business Administrations, focusing on non profits, and also from Chicago Theological Seminary with his Masters of Divinity. Rev. Yaghjian-Tison was ordained into the UCC on November 27, 2022 and comes to BCC filled to the brim with excitement and enthusiasm for both the congregation and the local community. Pastor Brandon has a ministry that is focused on the wider community and all the issues that face it from homelessness and marginalization to respect and equality for all.

When not in the pulpit Brandon can often be found kayaking or camping and spending time at his home lounging in the pool or around a cozy wood fire in the colder months. He loves all things technology and has actually studied sound engineering and has managed sound for several large name acts all over the New England area and more. Pastor Brandon brings to BCC a fresh perspective on the value of technology in worship and how this can play in the vitality of the local church. Pastor Brandon also brings with him his love for food, and has worked as a caterer, party planner, and in luxury hotels for many years prior to his ministry here with us.
