Church School

While our youth are always invited to worship with us, they are also encouraged to join with their peers in our Church School Programing.

Taking Place right after Children's Time in service until the end of service. Youth from K-8th grade are invited.

We also have a background checked, volunteer-staffed nursery available from the start of service until the end. Please reach out for more information.

Our Christian Education Team has cultivated an inviting and intricate C.E. Program this year by Illustrated Ministries, and it has something for everyone. Also Speak with our C.E. Director for more information about Confirmation.

Prayer Shawl

A dedicated group of volunteers meets at 1 p.m. on the 4th Tuesday of each month in Chandler Hall. They have provided hundreds of hand-knitted shawls for church members and others. There is never a charge for these beautiful shawls. Anyone can make a request as a gift of caring and comfort or for the joy of a celebration. To request a shawl, please call the church office at 860-649-7077.

Visitors are always welcome at these meetings, and the group enjoys teaching new knitters. It is a social time, and you can come any time to learn, share your patterns, or just to visit. Donations of yarn, needles, and money are appreciated and have enabled the group to be self-supporting for years.

Church Library

Our Chandler Hall "Book Nook" Library has hundreds of books that may be borrowed at no cost. Books may be borrowed on Sunday mornings when Chandler Hall is open.

A Hidden Treasure!

BCC operates a church store every Sunday after Service as well as every Tuesday Morning till mid-day, The church store is also available as a self serve, honor system payment, store during all of our happening's during the week. You just never know what you are going to find. The store is filled to the brim with china, new and used clothing, hand bags, jewelry, crystal, silver pieces, paintings, hand made scarves, hat's and more. Each dollar made in the store goes to support the work of our crafters group, so they can continue to make hats and scarfs for the homeless, blankets for the youth and handmade cards for those in need.
